I can pretty much guarantee by symptoms you have incorrectly wired up your ignition harness, you are aware it's in firing order not cylinder order right? It sounds more like a faulty ignition chip or incorrect wiring. I used Vista as well as xp without any problems but its designed for xp so you should try that if your having dramas. Votes: 0 ( Vote!) Going to have car tuned in next few weeks with single conversion, and considering rigging up ignition harness again.

Long story short, and several emails later Greddy tech advised me that several people had been having problems while running Vista, and that my problem would possibly be sorted with an and update via Windows xp or similar. Cihan did the original tune on the 1UZFE. And all the wiring was fine, I checked that several times. As soon as you added any ignition to the tables the car would miss and carry on, this happened on both 1JZGTE, and 1UZFE with same e blue.

Now since the original install and having ignition issues, basically you had to leave ignition maps blank. However, I've been running the blue for a while now, except ignition harness disconnected. is this the normal setup? the software i'm using was the version rob e-mailed me. plugs into laptop usb port and then straight into the emb. Hey guys, i've installed the emb this afternoon.
